Roman votive viscera and two pregnant figures. Votive offerings, gifts given to the Gods in prayer, were often sculptures representing the sick part of the body - as in the case of the abdominal organs shown here - that were left at the temple of a god. The two figurines, both 14cm tall, were probably offerings from women hoping to become pregnant.
