Late Babylonian, 7th BCE. drawing and measurements of the ziggurat or temple tower of the god Anshar (Ashur); this tablet apparently reflects a revival of Babylonian interest in the god Ashur, whose temple had been sacked in 614 BCE; Cyrus, the first Persian ruler of Mesopotamia (538-530 BCE), claims to have rebuilt it; upper part destroyed.
