The Du Cane and Boehm Family Group. 1734-5. The painting shows the dynastic conjunction of the financially powerful Huguenot families of Du Cane and Boehm and was very likely commissioned by Richard Du Cane (1688-1741). Oil paint on canvas, 1016 x 1270 mm. Acquisition Purchased with assistance from the Art Fund, the Friends of the Tate Gallery and a group of donors 1999 (T07505).
