Ciborium of S. Giovanni in Laterano (Basilica of St. John Lateran), Rome. Pope Urban V commissioned Giovanni di Stefano the ciborium in 1367. The design is derived by earlier ones of Arnolfo di Cambio. Only the Pope is allowed to officiate in the altar inside the ciborium.
