La Volta, Villa d'Este. The Villa was commissioned by Cardinal Ippolito II d'Este, son of Lucrezia Borgia, to Pirro Ligorio. The palace was built between 1550 and 1572. The frescoes in this room were made in 1565 by six painters under the direction of Girolamo Muziano.
