Le Cento Fontane, Villa d'Este. The palace and garden were built by Pirro Ligorio in 1550-72. The Cento Fontane (Hundred Fountains) three tiers of spouts represent the rivers of Tivoli: the Aniene, Erculaneo and Albuneo. The eagles were added in 1685 by Francesco II d'Este.
