Fontana dei Draghi, Villa d'Este. The palace and garden were built by Pirro Ligorio in 1550-72. The dragons of the Fontana dei Draghi (Fountain of the Dragons) were sculpted in honor of the family symbol of Pope Benedict XIII Boncompagni. They also allude to eleventh labor of Hercules.
