United Nations Headquarter against the Chrysler Building in Manhattan. This International Style Building was designed by the United Nations Board of Design, headed by Wallace K. Harrison, and built in 1947-53. The overall composition is due to Le Corbusier the member of the Board representing France. The Chrysler Building was designed by William Van Alen in 1928-30.
