Gold double stater of Vima Kadphises. This double stater shows the bust of the king, with flames rising from his shoulder (a divine sign of his right to rule). The club in his hand and the symbol of a rocky mountain top below the bust link him with Oesho, the Kushan god of the wind or high places, who appears on the reverse.
