The ancient theater of Miletus overlooking the alluvial plain that replaced what used to be its western harbor. This Hellenistic theater dates from the 4th century BCE. It was enlarged in 169-180 CE, and again in the late 3rd century CE. Its 54 tiers seated 15000 spectators.
