Siloam inscription,a Hebrew text commemorating the excavation of a tunnel between the spring of Gihon and the pool of Siloam inside the walls of Jerusalem. Built under King Hezekiah (716-687 BCE), the tunnel brought water to the city during the Assyrian siege under Sennacherib.
