Chateau de Choisy near Paris, France. One of a pair of rectangular pewter plaques by F. Chevalier, "tabletier du Roi" (1776). Choisy was a hunting lodge of King Louis XV with a famous "table volante" that could recede into the floor to be set for discreet dinners.
