Portal of the Schlosskirche in Wittenberg, where Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on October 31, 1517. This was the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. The mosaic lunette shows Martin Luther with the bible and Philip Melanchton with the Augsburg Confession (Pax Augustana), kneeling between a crucifix. The bronze gates show the 95 these along with a choir of musicians and singers.
