Bottom: to the left, the Aztec Emperor Moctezuma wearing an orange mantle with a green lining. In the center, the son of Tezozomoctlin, wearing a pink dress. To the right, Tezozomoctlin, Lord of Atzcapotzalco, mantle with a blue lining. Note that 5 personages are wearing a headpiece made of quetzal (sacred bird) feathers. Note that Don Balthazar de Mendoza, one of Moctezuma’s grand-son, is dressed as a Spanish noble.
