Reredos sculptured by quechua/quechoua indian Hilario Mendivil in Cusco/Cuzco; the wooden structure is covered with potato, glue and flour; his wife, Georgina, paints it without previous drawings. Their inspiration comes from the 17 & 18th century paintings of the Cusco school of colonial painting; good example of syncretism.
