Fluids: A Happening by Allan Kaprow. First realized for Allan Kaprow's 1967 exhibition at the Pasadena Art Museum, Fluids was recreated by LACMA on April 25 - 27, 2008. Volunteers built twenty rectangular enclosures of ice blocks (measuring about 30 feet long, 10 wide and 8 high) throughout Los Angeles. The walls were unbroken and were left to melt.
