The uniform of Austrian heir to the throne is drenched in blood. Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were shot by Bosnian student Gavrilo Princip, who belonged to a Serbian group of nationalists, on the 28th of June in 1914 during a visit to Sarajevo. In the following, Austria declared war to Serbia on the 28th of July in 1914 and World War I broke out.
