The "Abraham of Kütahya" Ewer. Turkey, Ottoman dyanasty, dated 11 March, 1510. School of Iznik, produced at Kütahya (city). The handle is in form of a dragon; the base has an inscription in Armenian (in bolorgir) under the glaze: "This vessel is in commemoration of Abraham, servant of God, of Kcotcay (Kutahya). In the year 959 (1510 AD), March llth". Blue and white glazed pottery, h. 17.10 cm; diam. 7.3 cm (rim). Inv. G.1.
