Master of the Pfullendorf Altarpiece (Ca. 1455-1520)
(possibly in the workshop of Bartholomaeus Zeitblom (1455/60-1518/22): Pfullendorf Altarpiece: Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Death of the Virgin. Ca. 1497-1503. The luminous colours and the dramatic depths of the perspectivally rendered space were typical of painting in Ulm around 1500. Mixed technique on fir, total: 113,8 x 329,6 x 6,8 cm. Inv. SG 453-456. Other panels of this altarpiece are in the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.
