Marble portrait head of Hadrian from a statue apparently showing the emperor in Greek civilian clothing. Fragments found in 1861 in the ruins of a temple in the city of Cyrene, northern Africa, were pieced together to form the unique and well known statue of a man wearing a Greek mantle that this head was originally attached to.
