Sarcophagus of Bethesda. Right half. Jesus healing a paralytic laying under the poll of Bethesda; the Entry into Jerusalem. This sarcophagus is one of the finest examples of the Bethesda type. Marble relief, Early Christian, ca. 375-400 CE. The Entry into Jerusalem has been restored in the 18th century by B. Cavaceppi.
