River god, called the Arno or the Tigris in the Renaissance. Marble statue. Imperial Roman, ca. 117-138 CE, inspired by an Hellenistic original. The head, arm and vase were created in the 16th century to form a fountain with the amazonomachy sarcophagus located under it.
