Koukamon or Ryuguumon (Gate of the Palace of the Sea Gods), Taiyuin Mausoleum, Nikko. This is the mausoleum of shogun Iemitsu Tokugawa, that was given the Buddha name of Taiyuin after his death. This gate, dating from 1652-53, was built in the Ming Chinese architectural style during the Edo period.
