Palace of Dux Pentapoleos, Byzantine govenor of the provinve, at Apollonia (Susa). 6th CE. The central courtyard was surrounded by arcades on three sides. Built when Susa (Ex-Apollonia) enjoyed statuts of Metropolis of the Pentapolis (the five cities of Cyrenaica).
