In the background another colossal statue erected by Pompey at the Serapeion of Alexandria. 6th CE. Byzantine mosaic from the nave of the East Church in Qasr-el-Lebia (Kasr el Libya). Size: 70 x 70 cm. One of a series of 50 with both pagan and christian motives.
