Honmaru Palace, Nijo Castle, Kyoto. The original Honmaru Palace burned down in the eighteenth century. The present structure belongs to the Katsura Imperial Family Palace dating from 1847, near Imadegawa Gate. The buildings were moved inside the Nijo Castle in 1893-94.
