Ammannati, Bartolomeo (1511-1592)
Pitti Palace with the Fontana del Carciofo seen from the Boboli Gardens. The garden front of the Palace was a 16th century addition by Ammannati to the original Renaissance palace. The Fontana del Carciofo, designed by Francesco Susini, a former assistant of Giambologna, was completed in 1641.
