View of the central patio through a Gothic-style window. The patio presents marble columns which support irregular arches decorated with elaborated Mudejar plaster works. The walls are profusely decorated with colorful Azulejo tiles and stucco.  In the corners are three Roman statues, of Minerva, a muse and Ceres, and a Greek original of Athena, dating from the 5th century BC.
