Passion Facade - Jesus carrying the Cross, Saint Veronica. Seen here are statues by the sculptor Josep Maria Subirachs on the Passion Facade (southwestern lateral facade). Subirachs began his work in 1987 following the ideas of Gaudi, but not his style. In this scene: Jesus, carrying the Cross, consoling the women of Jerusalem (Eighth Station of the Cross); Saint Veronica holding the veil with the imprint of Christ's face (Sixth Station of the Cross).
