Nasrid Palaces, The Facade of Comares, window. The Nasrid Palaces were several palaces connected together. The building stands opposite the gallery of the Golden Room. It was built in 1370 by Muhammad V to commemorate the conquest of Algeciras. Its decoration combined geometric, epigraphic and floral elements, as well as patterns of golden triangles and squares, showing the evolution of Andalusian art.
