Seen is a Coat of Arms in the fan-vaulted ceiling. The abbey was founded in the 7th century, reorganized in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th. It was firstly completed in ca. 1156 and built again during the following centuries and finally completed in 1611. Further additions were made until the last decade of the 20th century. The abbey was built in the Perpendicular-style (English late-Gothic).
