Stained glass windows. The Monastery of Batalha is practically the only Portuguese building that still has original stained-glass windows. King Manuel I in particular commissioned many stained glass windows for several churches in the Portugal. The monastery was the Portuguese centre for making Stained Glass windows in the 15th-16th centuries.
