Burnham, Daniel Hudson (1846-1912)
The Flatiron Building (originally called the Fuller Building) at 23rd street between Fifth Avenue and Broadway. This skyscraper was built in 1902 in a design using Renaissance and Gothic detailing (known as Beaux-Arts) in its terra-cotta and stone panels that clad the steel frame structure.
