Bearded athlete, maybe a pancratiast. He is raising his arms ready to face another athlete. His name, Agakles son of Phrynichos, is recorded on the band crowning the stele. Pentelic marble grave stele relief. Classical Greek, ca. 410-400 BCE. Found in Athens, in the area of the ancient deme of Halimous.
