Portal of the Temple Church, London. This 1185 Romanesque and Gothic building is the only one remaining from the time of the Knights Templar. It's round design, like in most Templar churches, was inspired by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The gothic chancel was added in 1220-40. This church has gained world fame after the publication of the novel "The Da Vinci Code".
