Reynes, Henry de (2nd half 13th CE)
Westminster Abbey, London. Building began in 1050 under Edward the Confessor. The Gothic aspect of the church is due to Henry of Reyns that was appointed Master Mason of the abbey in 1245 by King Henry III. Construction continued in the 14th century under the direction on Henry Yevele. The church was completed in 1532. The twin towers of the western front were built in 1722-40 by Nicholas Hawksmoor.
