Arrow Tower (Jian Lou), Qianmen gate (Front Gate, Zhengyangmen, Cheng Lou, Gate of Straight Positivity). Ming city walls, Beijing. This gate stands at the south end of the Tiananmen Square precinct and it was formerly the front gate of the Imperial City. First built in 1419, the present gate is the result of a 1914 restoration.
