Reynes, Henry de (2nd half 13th CE)
Bloody and Wakefied Towers opposite Traitor's Gate, Water Lane, Tower of London. These two Norman towers were built under Henry III in 1238-72. The Chief Architect and Master Builder was Henry de Reyns with John of Gloucester and Robert of Beverley. Many state prisoners were held or murdered in these tower. Bloody Tower is believed to be the scene of the murder of the two little Princes, Edward V and his brother Richard, Duke of York. The last Lancastrian king, Henry VI, was murdered in the Wakefield Tower.
