The façade with Romanesque reliefs (12th CE). Detail of the middle part with the central oculus (framed by a Cosmatesque decoration and surrounded by symbols of the Evangelists) and the main portal. This portal is surmounted by a horseshoe lunette, surrounded by two eagles and Cosmatesque decorations. On the sides of the jambs there are four orders of decorative arches on columns with a background of flowers, stylized animals and geometric figures, interspersed two by two by symbolic sculptures in full relief (the worker with the oxen and the dog, the deer suckling her newly born and devours a snake, the peacock pecking grapes).
