Apse area: the window made by Giovanni di Bonino in 1328-1334. The forty-four panels of the Gothic window depict the life of Mary and Christ with the bust of the blessing Redeemer surrounded by the symbols of the Evangelists and surmounted by the mystic Cherub. The single episodes of the stories, painted on a blue background within architectural schemes, are interspersed with the figures of the Prophets, represented with landscape notations on a red background.
