Tintagel Castle, Cornwall, Dark Ages, (1994). Reconstruction shows traders offering amphorae of wine or oil to the lord of the castle. Tintagel Castle was the legendary birth place of King Arthur. Excavations found large quantities of pottery from North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean dating from the Dark Ages.
