Master of the Bruges Passion Scenes (active 16th CE)
Crucifixion. ca. 1510. In spite of the fact that the altarpiece includes a detail from an engraving by Dürer dated 1511, its painter has often been called the 'Bruges Master of 1500'. It was formerly ascribed to Gerard van der Meire. Oil on oak.
