Fortifications of the Crusader castle Belvoir, Israel, on a 500m high hill with a view over the Jordan Valley. Belvoir was built 1138-1140, enlarged by Hospitaller Knights in 1168 and captured by Sultan Saladdin in 1189. It was wrecked in 1220.
