The photographs are of objects and installations from the Exposition Universelle, 1867, Paris. This particular photograph is an albumen silver print from a glass negative (7 1/4 x 9 3/8 in.) entitled “Display of Thonet furniture at the Paris International Exposition, photographed by Auguste-Rosalie Bisson (French, 1826-1900) in 1867.
