Police Mugshot of Grigorii Sokolnikov, born 1888, a defendant at the second Moscow Show Trial, also known as the Trial of the Anti-Soviet Trotskyist Centre, at the House of Trade Unions in January 1937. Sentenced to 10 years imprisonment though later murdered in prison by other prisoners, or the NKVD or shot. Part of the David King Collection. Purchased from David King by Tate Archive 2016.
