Made for the City Council of Leipzig, later in the prayer room of Duke Christian in Eisenberg Castle, and in possession of the Dukes of Altenburg. Weaving, wool, silk, goldt threads. Gift of the Freistaat Sachsen in honor of the re-opening of the museum in 1929. Restored in 2005-2007 with support of the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenstiftung in the Freistaat Sachsen together with the Sparkasse Leipzig. Inv. 1930.64. Photo: Christoph Sandig.
