Statue of D'Artagnan, bronze, 1931, by Firmin Michelet, from the novel The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas, in Auch, Gers, Occitania, France. The character was based on a real person, Charles de Batz-Castelmore, comte d'Artagnan, 1611-73, from nearby Lupiac.
