Cathedral of the Miracle of the Archangel Michael in the Moscow Kremlin, Russia, 1882. The cathedral of the Chudov Monastery was built in the early 1500s. It was traditionally the site of the baptism of royal children. The entire monastery, together with the nearby Ascension Convent, was demolished by the Soviet authorities in 1929. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk.
