Temple Bar, Theobalds Park, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, 1972. Artist: Anon
Temple Bar, Theobalds Park, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, 1972. Originally one of the gates into the City of London, in the late 19th century it was dismantled and moved to Theobalds Park, belonging to Sir Henry Meux. Over a hundred years later it was moved back to London again and re-erected as an entrance to the Paternoster Square redevelopment near St Paul's Cathedral. It opened to the public in 2004. © The London Archives (City of London)/Heritage Images
