Some of the company of the first-class battleship HMS 'Sans Pareil', 1896. View showing the ship's two 16.25 inch guns, mounted in a single turret sited forward of the superstructure. Launched in 1887, the 'Sans Pareil' was the sister ship of HMS 'Victoria'. From 1895 until the end of her career in 1904, she served as port guard ship at Sheerness, Kent.
